2016 Nissan Maxima Technology
Details of the 2016 Nissan Maxima have finally been released, and at Montgomeryville Nissan, we’re excited about all of the technology it features.
But what’s so thrilling that we need to write an article dedicated to 2016 Nissan Maxima technology? Three things: what’s under the hood, what’s going on inside, and what’s keeping us entertained through every rough morning commute.
2016 Nissan Maxima Performace Technology
Powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, the 2016 Maxima produces 300 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque. The engine, which features an electronic continuously variable valve timing control system on intake/exhaust valves and Nissan direct ignition system, is front-wheel drive and paired with an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with D-step logic. The vehicle offers paddle shifters and an Integrated Dynamic-Control Module, both of which give the driver more control than ever before.
With the four-wheel anti-lock braking system and Brake Assist, you won’t have to worry about stopping on a dime. And with the independent strut front suspension, independent multi-link rear suspension, and sport-tuned suspension, including retuned struts/shocks, stiffer springs, and larger front stabilizer bar, you’ll have a comfortable ride no matter the road condition.
Comfort Features of the 2016 Maxima
The 2016 Nissan Maxima is designed inside and out to be the dream car of any driver or passenger, which is why the interior of the vehicle is just as beautiful and well equipped as the rest of it. The advanced Drive-Assist display with 7-inch color display, NissanConnect navigation with 8-inch multi-touch control screen and voice recognition for audio, and navigation definitely lend a hand in the comfort department. Paired with a hands-free text messaging assistant, you can focus on the road and less on the business of getting to your next destination. Not only will your ride be more comfortable this way, since you can relax, but you won’t have to worry about being distracted while driving.
In terms of specific benefits to your comfort, the new Maxima features Active Noise Cancellation, a remote engine start system with intelligent climate control, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button ignition, and an eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support. The climate-controlled front seats, heated steering wheel, leather-appointed seats, and leather-wrapped steering wheel all contribute to your happiness on the go in the Nissan Maxima.
