Your mother is a special lady—we don’t even need to meet her to know that. She clothed you, fed you, and nurtured you. In the process of it all, she probably tore her hair out a time or two. So, now it’s time to pay her back.
When the Montgomeryville Nissan team takes our moms out for Mother’s Day in Drexel Hill, we have a few favorite activities in mind…
Drexelbrook
It’s no secret that many of the area’s most elegant weddings have been held at the Drexelbrook Special Events Center. They’ll soon be opening up their doors for their annual Mother’s Day brunch.
When you walk into the lavishly decorated grand ballroom, you’ll be stunned by the amount of food before you. Treat mom to eggs benedict or made-to-order omelets for an entrée, and cobbler or red velvet cake for dessert. Mimosas, of course, are a must.

Longwood Gardens
If you’re looking for something a little more scenic for Mother’s Day—a way to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather—then you’ll have to pay a visit to Longwood Gardens.
Bedecked with flowing wisteria, rhododendrons, peonies, and azaleas, the fragrant gardens will make the perfect holiday backdrop. A wine and champagne bar will also be open on the terrace with plenty of live music.
Hours will be extended for Mother’s Day. Check out their full schedule online.
The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center
Back in the day, your Mom spent countless hours just trying to keep you entertained. Now, you can do the same for her by visiting the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center for Mother’s Day.
Recent shows include the Pennsylvania Ballet II’s Snow White, as well as a performance by the brilliant Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra.

Mother Knows Best
Didn’t your mother teach you how important it is to appreciate and cherish her? Be sure to remind her just how much you care by showing her a great time this Mother’s Day. Visit any of these three events for a day she won’t soon forget!
