2014 Nissan Sentra
The Sentra provides its passengers with A/C, power front windows, and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel along with remote keyless entry, and front and rear cup holders. For entertainment purposes, there is a CD player, AM/FM Radio, MP3 input, and 4 speakers. The Matrix is a 4 door hatchback with plenty of room and a fold flat front passenger seat. It’s outdated design was part of the reason they decided to put an end to its production for 2014. The L trim has heated mirrors, A/C, cloth upholstery, cruise control as well as full power accessories.
The Sentra has 16 inch wheels for the base trims, but for the SV, and the FESV, you can add optional alloys. It also includes power steering, independent suspension, and speed-sensing steering capabilities. The Toyota Matrix has 16 inch steel wheels. The S trim gives you upgraded upholstery and foglights, while the L Sport trim has foglights along with front and rear spoilers. The S Sport package includes both spoilers and 17 inch alloy wheels. A sunroof is optional.
The 2014 Nissan Sentra comes with a 1.8 Liter 1-4 6 speed manual w/OD that emanates 124 horsepower or 2-speed CVT w/OD that produces 130 horsepower. The base trim gives 27 city and 36 highway miles to the gallon. The suspension, steering, and tuning have been upgraded this year. The Matrix L has FWD and a 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder engine that churns out 132 horsepower/128 pound feet of torque. It comes with a 5 speed manual transmission or a 4 speed automatic as optional. It also has 25 city and 32 highway mpg for the automatic and 26 city and 32 highway for the manual transmission.
The 2014 Nissan Sentra includes brake assist, ABS brakes, electronic stability/traction control. Dual front and side airbags as well as overhead and occupant sensing airbags align the inside. The 2013 Toyota Matrix has antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, head restraints, and plenty of airbags for safety precautions.
