2019 Nissan 370Z Review
Sports cars will always be popular with drivers around Philadelphia, Lansdale, and Doylestown. Their sleek appearance and amazing speed definitely draw attention, especially when you see one cruising down the highway.
Of course, sleek and sporty don’t mean much if your car isn’t also reliable. If you’re in the market for a new sports car, check out the Nissan 370Z, considered to be one of the most dependable sports cars on the market. Learn more about the 2019 Nissan 370Z with our handy review to see if it’s the right car for you!
The 2019 370Z comes equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The top NISMO trim, equipped with aerodynamic upgrades, boosts the engine to one capable of a more impressive 350 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque.
The coupe model comes with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission. The convertible models and base-level Roadster trim offer automatic transmissions. For a real test of its speed, the Nissan can go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 5.3 seconds, beating many of its competitors.
For a sports car, the 370Z is surprisingly light in its steering. The quick steering response and sturdy grip make it an ideal car for driving winding roads, while the smooth suspension and clutch combine for an easy drive down city streets as well.
Interior and Cargo Space
The standard seats come with cloth upholstery, but you can upgrade to leather-upholstered seats in the Touring and higher trim levels. The leather seats also have optional cooling and heating features. The seats are more than adequate in size, and you’ll find plenty of legroom with the 42.9 inches of space. With that kind of room, passengers will feel comfortable in the 370Z even during long car rides.
While not huge, this Nissan’s cargo space is typical for most cars in its class. The 2019 coupes offer 6.9 cubic feet of space while the convertibles have 4.2 cubic feet. Both models have sufficient space for a few bags of groceries or a suitcase for your overnight trip.
Technology and Safety Features
The base-level Roadster model comes with a 6-speaker radio/CD stereo system with MP3 playback capability as well as Automatic Temperature Control and a USB port. You can also upgrade to a Bose® stereo system with noise cancellation.
For those drivers who want more music options, the Sport Touring and higher trims offer SiriusXM® Satellite Radio and Bluetooth® audio streaming. The higher trim levels also come standard with a satellite navigation system with a 7-inch touchscreen. If you prefer some technological help with directions, go with the upper trims.
The standard safety features in all 2019 Nissan 370Z trims include airbags, an Anti-lock Braking System, Nissan Intelligent Key® with Push Button Ignition, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. A rear-view camera is also now standard so that drivers can see what’s behind them on the road or in the parking lot.
